Pastor Tim White and wife Becky
I was raised in Gospel Baptist Church. As a young teen, my mother and I joined Gospel when the church was first meeting in Cleo and Etoyal Steed's home. I remember when we bought the property on Hwy 311and worshipped in the tent while the first sanctuary was being built. Several of us teens worked after school on the new sanctuary. I was saved in a revival service in 1971, when evangelist Bill Stafford was preaching. Two years later I was called to preach and started attending Piedmont Baptist College. Later, I was ordained at Gospel and sent out to pastor my first church.
Gospel Baptist Church has invested more in my life than any other church and God has graciously granted me the opportunity to serve as Senior pastor and repay part of my debt.
